Here's a few balls from my travels:
| Madrid - Museo Reina Sofia |
| Copenhagen - Kongens Have |

| Barcelona - Nou Camp
My son, Rory, in 2006, at the Nou Camp in Barcelona. Posing in between Ronaldinho and Samuel Eto'o. Unfortunately the two players were just cardboard cut-outs but, admit it, you were fooled for just a few seconds?

Husavik, Iceland - Outside the Penis Museum
Regular readers will recognise the photo above as it's a favourite of mine from the Penis Museum in Iceland, hence the big smile on my face.
So there you have it from me: a load of balls. No change there, then.

Yes I was initially fooled by the footie players, and you can see the 'teenage' face from Rory. There is something quite pleasing about the ball costume, and the last pic is a treat!
ReplyDeleteThanks Libby. I found it amazing to see how Rory had changed in just a few years too!
DeleteI like the fact your jacket in the last photo is sympathetic to the subject of this post.
ReplyDeleteHa! I didn't think of that. Excellent spot-the-ball work there, Steve.
DeleteOh balls! I've nothing to add.
ReplyDeleteNo balls, then.
DeleteTrish - you're always on the ball!
ReplyDeleteI'd like to think so :-)
DeleteYou must have had a ball writing this! (sorry, sorry, I couldn't resist...)And, yes, I was fooled, too. I *must* get to that museum in Iceland!
ReplyDelete....any good spam yet? ; )
I hate to think what spam will come my way from this. I will let you know!
DeleteAnother Saturday morning talking balls.... I'm having trouble enough explaining blogging to aged relatives...
ReplyDeleteHave you finished yet? Did they understand or glaze over?
DeleteThose ball photos weren't as bad as I sphered they would be.
ReplyDeleteGroan!
DeleteI was waiting for you to comment on my previous post - I thought that was just up your street.
Iceland has a penis museum? *rushes to Easyjet website...*
ReplyDeleteIndeed it does. Shame I didn't take any photos from inside: the whale specimens would make your eyes water.
DeleteThat Iceland photo still makes me laugh... xx
ReplyDeleteI really must stop posting it so regularly!
DeleteHyspherically funny, except, every time I see you in that jacket my eye-balls bug out and I bawl -- I want that Roxy Jacket!! If I ever make it back to the UK I will be scouring TKMaxx,(is he the twin brother of TJMaxx in the US??)acting really ballsie, pushing people out of the way as I try to find 'THE' anorak!! If not, prepare for a robbery -- I swear I'll only take the anorak so don't break my balls about my impending life of crime.
ReplyDeleteMarion
Ah Marion, my lovely friend from Panama. You still going on about that jacket? Can just see you going nuts in TKMaxx.
DeleteWill find out if TK has a brother...
Love that jacket!!
ReplyDeleteMarion
Apparently TKMaxx and TJMaxx are the same company!
DeleteGet your own spotty jacket ;-)
"Get your own spotty jacket" -- well IwudifIcudbutIcan't -- the third and oldest brother, TIMaxx grabbed them all to sell to tourists at the Penis Museum in Husavik. The only thing left to say, me being spotty jacket bereft is that I know I'm never going to find one -- balls.
ReplyDeleteMarion
Haha! Apologies, of course you can't get your own spotty jacket, that's why you asked me in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI suppose they market them outside the Penis Museum as 'Spotted Dick'?
Oooohhhh, you win this "round" definitely - didn't "spot" that one coming!!
